The QAIE Department at Dubai Medical University successfully conducted a workshop introducing the newly developed Automatic KPI Dashboard System for the CAA Outcome-based Evaluation Framework (OBEF). The workshop highlighted the university’s ongoing commitment to digitization and continuous quality improvement.

The new dashboard is designed to centralize and streamline KPI management by providing an integrated platform for automatic KPI calculations, dashboard reporting, corrective action plans, action monitoring, and benchmarking data — all in one place. The system enables departments and program directors to efficiently track performance indicators, monitor progress, compare benchmarking results, and implement improvement plans in real time.

During the session, participants were introduced to the dashboard’s key features, including automated data processing, threshold tracking, benchmarking analysis, continuous improvement monitoring, and centralized reporting.

The workshop emphasized how the new digital solution will enhance decision-making, improve operational efficiency, and support evidence-based quality assurance practices across the university. Faculty members, program directors, committee chairs, and administrative staff actively participated in the session and appreciated the system’s user-friendly and comprehensive approach.
