October 1, 2026: Dubai Medical University (DMU) College of Pharmacy participated in the World Pharmacists Day celebrations hosted by Canadian Specialist Hospital in Dubai under the theme “Empowering Pharmacists for a Healthier Future.” 

Dr. Bassam Atallah, Associate Dean – Clinical Affairs at DMU College of Pharmacy, delivered the keynote address, highlighting the evolving role of pharmacists in advancing patient care, healthcare outcomes, and the future of the profession. 

The celebration also featured a poster competition centered on the World Pharmacists Day theme, bringing together pharmacy students and professionals to showcase innovative ideas and perspectives on empowering pharmacists. DMU proudly secured the First place in the competition, highlighting the creativity, knowledge, and commitment of its pharmacy students.
