Dubai Medical University is pleased to recognise Dr. Shifan Khanday, Associate Dean for Research, College of Medicine, for her commendable response to a medical situation involving a passenger onboard an Air India flight from Dubai to Delhi.

Dr. Shifan provided medical assistance during Air India flight on 14 July 2026, responding promptly to the situation and offering her medical expertise when it was needed.

In recognition of her support and professionalism, Air India presented Dr. Shifan with a token of appreciation, including a travel voucher, accompanied by a letter of gratitude from Rajesh Dogra, Chief Customer Experience Officer (CCXO), Air India.
