DMU College of Pharmacy Hosts Faculty Research Seminar on Advanced Nanoparticle Drug Delivery Systems

The College of Pharmacy at Dubai Medical University (DMU) held a Faculty Research Seminar on 14 May 2026, featuring a presentation titled “Real-World Applications of Nanoparticle Platforms in Optimizing Drug Delivery and Therapeutic Outcomes.”

The seminar was delivered by Prof. Dr. Bazigha K. Abdul Rasool, Professor and Head of the Pharmaceutical Sciences Department, who provided an in-depth exploration of cutting-edge nanoparticle technologies and their transformative applications across medicine, diagnostics, gene therapy, cosmetics, and biotechnology.

The session further spotlighted the College’s ongoing collaborative research initiatives and its state-of-the-art research infrastructure, which continues to support high-impact work in the areas of nano-formulations, targeted drug delivery, anticancer therapies, and herbal medicine research.

Prof. Dr. Bazigha conveyed her sincere appreciation to Dubai Medical University and to Prof. Sherief Khalifa, Dean of the College of Pharmacy and Vice Chancellor – Academic Affairs, for their steadfast commitment to fostering a culture of research excellence and innovation within the institution.
