On Tuesday, 27^th of January 2026, Dubai Medical University – College of Pharmacy was delighted to welcome colleagues from the School of Pharmacy, Monash University Malaysia, for a productive and inspiring engagement with the College of Pharmacy faculty.

The visit featured a focused meeting to explore potential academic and research collaborations between both institutions, followed by a guided tour of DMU’s facilities, showcasing our teaching, research, and learning infrastructure.

The visit concluded with an engaging Faculty Development Seminar, attended by faculty members from across the colleges, titled: “Rethinking the Classroom for Today’s Learners: Transforming Traditional Lectures into Interactive Learning Experiences,”

Delivered by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mahendran Sekar, Dr. Sathiya Maran, and Dr. Usha Sundralingam.

The speakers shared their expertise, insights, and best practices in innovative teaching and learning. Such exchanges strengthen global academic partnerships and reaffirm our shared commitment to advancing pharmacy education.
