Biography

Cherish Larraine Obra is a highly organized Executive Assistant with years of experience providing comprehensive administrative and executive support to high-level administrators in dynamic academic and healthcare environments. Known for her exceptional attention to detail and proven ability to thrive under pressure, she ensures the seamless and confidential operation of executive offices.

Currently working as the Executive Assistant to the Dean of the College of Nursing at Dubai Medical University (DMU), Cherish manages all strategic and daily operations. Her critical responsibilities include complex calendar management, drafting sensitive correspondence, coordinating academic and student affairs, and providing specialized support for the Clinical Simulation Lab (operations, inventory, and technical setup). She is also responsible for facilitating high-level college events, such as Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) signings and College related events.

Prior to DMU, Cherish spent seven years as an Executive Assistant at Sultan Qaboos University (SQU) in Muscat, Oman. Concurrently, she demonstrated significant proficiency in large-scale event logistics as the Secretary/Organizer for the Oman Society for Lipid and Atherosclerosis (OSLA), successfully orchestrating multiple medical conferences and managing international speaker arrangements.
