The Quality Assurance and Institutional Effectiveness (QAIE) Department at Dubai Medical University (DMU) recently organized a focused training workshop addressing the new Outcome-Based Framework (OBF) introduced by the Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA), along with a comprehensive overview of the Program Effectiveness Report (PER) accessible via the QAIE Portal.
The session was led by Prof. Ibrahim Elsayed, Vice Chancellor for Quality Assurance and Institutional Effectiveness, and was followed by a detailed presentation by Dr. Eslam El Nebrisi, Director of the QAIE Department.
Attended by senior academic leadership, including the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, Associate Deans, Heads of the Department, Program Directors, Phase Coordinators, Dean of Student Affairs and Alumni Coordinators. The workshop aimed to strengthen academic quality and accountability by deepening participants’ understanding of outcome-based reporting and the critical role of PER in continuous program enhancement.
This initiative underscores DMU’s commitment to promoting a culture of quality, accountability, and evidence-based decision-making across all academic programs.
