DUBAI (March 23, 2026) Dubai Medical University’s research has been featured in Ru’ya Magazine, published by the UAE Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MOHESR).

The research project, conducted by Dr. Naglaa Saad – Assistant Dean for Quality & Accreditation and Head of the Integrative Medicine Department, College of Pharmacy, Dubai Medical University, is titled “A Machine Learning Approach to Evaluating the Impact of Natural Oils on Alzheimer’s Disease Progression.” The study investigates the use of machine learning to analyze the chemical composition of natural oils and predict their potential role in slowing the progression of Alzheimer’s disease.

By integrating artificial intelligence with pharmacological and natural product research, the project aims to contribute to the development of innovative therapeutic approaches for neurodegenerative diseases.

The project was a collaborative effort between Dubai Medical University (DMU) and Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT-Dubai).
