DUBAI (February 23, 2026) – An international webinar, organized by Young Researchers Forum and the International Pharmaceutical Students’ Federation (IPSF) – Global Research Lab was held under the title “Systematic Review (A)”.

The webinar was delivered by Dr. Sima Jabbari, Head of Academic Support Department and Head of General Education Unit, who has more than 20 years of experience in higher education and research, and is widely recognized for her expertise in Evidence-Based Medicine (EBM) and Systematic Reviews.

During the webinar, Dr. Jabbari provided a structured and practical overview of systematic reviews, covering foundational concepts, methodological rigor, and best practices in conducting high-quality evidence syntheses.  Her session emphasized the critical role of systematic reviews in supporting evidence-based healthcare decisions and advancing clinical practice.

Students and researchers worldwide took part in the webinar with the aim of deepening their understanding of systematic review methodology and engaged in thoughtful discussions related to conducting and publishing systematic reviews.

The event reflects DMU’s continued commitment to fostering a culture of research excellence and international collaboration and Dr. Jabbari’s  solid  engagement with global research platforms such as IPSF, she continues mentoring and inspiring students and early-career researchers in pursuing rigorous, impactful research.
