In a heartfelt show of compassion and solidarity, Dubai Medical University (DMU) students came together for the Gaza Food Packaging Initiative, organized by the Saeed Ahmad Lootah Charity Foundation in collaboration with the DMU Deanship of Student Affairs The initiative formed part of Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, launched under the Mohammed bin Zayed Initiatives and UAE AID, supporting the nation’s ongoing humanitarian relief efforts for the people of Gaza.
It brought together 115 DMU volunteers who dedicated their time and effort to support humanitarian relief efforts for Gaza. Through hands-on participation in food packaging and community service activities, students worked collaboratively to prepare and package large quantities of essential food items for distribution to those in need. The event not only addressed urgent humanitarian needs but also served as a meaningful learning experience for students, fostering values of empathy, teamwork, and social responsibility. The Gaza Food Packaging Initiative stands as a testament to DMU’s ongoing efforts to nurture socially responsible healthcare professionals who actively contribute to the well-being of both local and global communities.
