Dubai Medical University (DMU), College of Pharmacy, has been featured on the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) website in its Noteworthy Practices – June 2026, with three out of the four highlighted practices recognizing initiatives implemented by the College.

The featured practices showcase DMU’s commitment to excellence in pharmacy education, student support, and continuous quality improvement:

• Teaching and Learning Methods: Establishment of an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Committee to support the responsible integration of AI into the pharmacy curriculum.
• Student Services: Implementation of the Learning Enhancement and Peer Support (LEAP) Program, a structured, student-led peer tutoring initiative.
• Continuing Professional Development of Academic and Clinical Experts: Introduction of a five-month Preceptor Certificate Program to strengthen preceptor teaching, assessment, and supervision skills.
