Program Learning Outcomes



PLO1- Apply biomedical, physical, and radiologic sciences to understand human anatomy, pathology, imaging principles, and the clinical use of diagnostic imaging technologies.

PLO2- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures safely and effectively by applying appropriate patient positioning, imaging protocols, exposure factors, and image acquisition techniques across a range of radiologic examinations.

PLO3- Operate imaging equipment and digital imaging systems competently, including radiographic, CT, MRI, and specialized imaging technologies, while ensuring image quality and technical accuracy.

PLO4- Apply principles of radiation protection, radiobiology, and patient safety to minimize risk and maintain safe practice for patients, practitioners, and the healthcare environment.

PLO5- Communicate and collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary healthcare teams while demonstrating professionalism, ethical practice, and respect for patient-centered care.

PLO6- Use critical thinking, research, and informatics skills to evaluate imaging outcomes, solve clinical problems, and support evidence-based practice in medical imaging sciences.
