Biography

Dr. Aprajita is a dedicated physiologist specializing in cardiovascular and neurophysiology. Following her MBBS from M.S. Ramaiah Medical College (2010), she pursued an MD in Physiology from PGIMS, Rohtak (2017), driven by a passion for understanding the human body’s functional mechanisms and their clinical implications. Her research centers on pathophysiological mechanisms of heart failure and neurophysiological alterations in endocrine disorders, particularly hypothyroidism.

Dr. Aprajita currently serves as an Assistant Professor at Dubai Medical College for Girls, where she integrates innovative pedagogical methods and technology-enhanced learning to engage diverse medical student cohorts. She has also contributed to Ghai’s Textbook of Physiology (9th Ed.) and authored multiple indexed journal articles. Her professional accomplishments include organizing international conferences, leading academic modules, and earning recognition for teaching and research excellence.
