DMU proudly launched the “Your Voice Matters – Join the Student Council Election!” campaign on 12th March 2025 to inspire active student participation in the democratic process. Organized by Ms. Dina and Ms. Naira from DMU Student Affairs, the initiative empowered students to raise their voices, present their visions, and shape campus life.

The campaign encouraged nominees to deliver speeches outlining their goals and leadership plans, fostering transparency and informed decision-making among voters. A total of 32 nominees competed for 13 positions, including one appointed role.

The online campaign and election saw strong engagement, with 109 attendees participating in the virtual events and 182 students casting their votes. Of these, 10 votes were disqualified in accordance with the election guidelines, reflecting the university’s commitment to fairness and integrity.

This successful election highlights DMU’s dedication to student representation, inclusive leadership, and cultivating a vibrant, participatory campus community.
