On 30th October 2025, DMU’s Community Engagement Unit partnered with Rashid Hospital’s Vascular Surgery Team to mark Vascular Awareness Day, focusing on Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT). Final year medical students raised awareness on DVT through hands-on education and public engagement, aligning with the UAE’s mission for early detection and preventive care.
