Prof. Salah Eldin Kassab delivered an insightful oral presentation titled “Are We Teaching the Way Students Learn in the AI Era?” at the Emirati Medical Education Conference, held on 7–8 February. The presentation explored the evolving role of artificial intelligence in medical education, highlighting research findings that demonstrate a shift toward self-paced, flexible, and technology-supported learning alongside continued exam-oriented study behaviors. It also emphasized the growing importance of collaborative learning, student–faculty partnerships, and the responsible integration of AI to better align teaching strategies with the needs of modern medical learners.
