DMU held an engaging Faculty Research Seminar on Wednesday, 8 October 2025, led by Dr. Bassam Atallah, Associate Dean – Clinical Affairs, COP-DMU, who presented his research titled:

“Beta-Blocker Choice and Other Factors Predicting Atrial Fibrillation Following Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting: An Experience from a Quaternary Care Center in the Middle East.”

Faculty members from across DMU colleges came together for a thought-provoking discussion that blended clinical insights, data-driven findings, and regional healthcare perspectives.

The seminar sparked meaningful dialogue on cardiovascular research and reinforced DMU’s strong culture of collaboration, innovation, and evidence-based practice.
