On October 7, 2025 — Dr. Bassam Atallah, Associate Dean – Clinical Affairs at DMU College of Pharmacy, served as a panelist at the 16th Emirates Cardiac Society Conference, held in collaboration with the American College of Clinical Pharmacy – Middle East (ACC Middle East) from October 3–5 in Dubai.

Dr. Atallah contributed to the Heart Failure and Cardiomyopathies session with a talk titled “HFrEF: Overcoming Barriers to Improve Outcomes.” He underscored the vital role of clinical pharmacy within multidisciplinary teams managing heart failure with reduced ejection fraction, highlighting strategies to optimize therapy and enhance patient outcomes.

As the region’s largest cardiology gathering, the conference convened leading international and local experts to explore the latest advances and best practices in cardiovascular care.
