College of Medicine ,Dubai Medical University (DMU) proudly announces that Dr. Shifan Khanday, Acting Associate Dean of Research and Head of the AI and Smart Education Unit, was invited to serve as an External Examiner for a Master’s thesis at Stellenbosch University, South Africa.

The thesis, titled “Investigating Neurophobia and the Effectiveness of New Multimedia Neuroanatomy Teaching Modalities Among Health Sciences Students,” explored innovative pedagogical strategies to overcome the fear and difficulty often associated with learning neuroanatomy. The candidate presented novel multimedia-based teaching tools aimed at enhancing student engagement and understanding.

Dr. Khanday’s role as an examiner highlights her international standing in medical education, Anatomy, and AI-enhanced learning.
