
The College of Pharmacy at Dubai Medical University (DMU) would like to announce the appointment of Dr. Ahmad El Ouweini as the new Faculty Advisor of the DMU–IVPN Student Club, under the college of pharmacy, for the 2025-2026 academic year.
The DMU–IVPN Student Club, established under the College of Pharmacy in collaboration with the IVPN-Network, serves as a platform for pharmacy students to engage in professional development, community health initiatives, and interprofessional collaboration aligned with the university’s mission to advance excellence in pharmacy education and public health.
As the new academic year begins, the club has officially launched its activities under Dr. El Ouweini’s leadership. The new executive team brings together a dynamic group of students eager to continue the club’s tradition of innovation, leadership, and service.
“I am truly honored to lead the DMU–IVPN Student Club this year,” said Dr. El Ouweini, “We have an exciting and dedicated team, and I look forward to making this a fruitful and productive year—driving progress in pharmacy education, professional growth, and community health in alignment with both IVPN’s and DMU’s shared vision.”
The College also extends its sincere appreciation to Dr. Mariam Diab, who founded and led the club during its inaugural year (2024-25), and to her dedicated student team led by Ms. Naiba Khusrau, for their commitment and efforts in making the first year of the club a memorable and successful beginning.
With renewed enthusiasm and strong leadership, the DMU–IVPN Student Club is set to continue empowering pharmacy students to become active contributors to the advancement of healthcare and the profession of pharmacy in the UAE and beyond.
