DMU Concludes November Walking Challenge with Outstanding Community Participation

Dubai Medical University proudly wrapped up the DMU November Walking Challenge, held in alignment with the Dubai Fitness Challenge 30×30, celebrating a month of movement, motivation, and community spirit. The initiative brought together students, faculty, and staff in a friendly competition encouraging wellness and daily activity.

The challenge showcased remarkable dedication across both categories, with participants collectively taking thousands of steps and reinforcing the university’s commitment to promoting an active lifestyle.

  • Sara Houssam Barake – 33,623 steps (College of Nursing)
  • Marah Belal Ahmad – 33,120 steps (College of Pharmacy)
  • Hala Wael Ahmed Ragheb Abu Kameil – 27,827 steps (College of Nursing)
  • Zainab Lal Wali Khan (Zainab 47) – 23,906 steps (College of Nursing)
  • Sedrt Almunattha Shokeh – 19,465 steps (College of Nursing)

Faculty & Staff Winners

  • Dr. Shahid Ullah Khan – 21,886 steps
  • Mr. Abdul Hafeez Zafar – 16,344 steps
  • Ms. Aileen Menorias – 15,821 steps
  • Dr. Fahad Saqib Lodhi – 13,522 steps
  • Mrs. Rose Itliong – 10,466 steps

The enthusiasm, consistency, and positive energy demonstrated by the DMU community throughout the challenge were truly inspiring. Participants not only embraced the spirit of fitness but also set an example of perseverance and teamwork—values that lie at the heart of DMU.
