DMU College of Pharmacy is pleased to announce that two of its students, Nadeen Al Rabaee and Raneem Zakaria, have successfully completed their practical training at the Dubai Police Health Center, through the Efaad program offered by the General Department of Human Resources – Dubai Police.
The training, which took place during June and July 2025, provided practical experience in medication management and patient counseling, while also allowing our students to understand the unique healthcare system at the Dubai Police Health Center. This system differs from Salma (the electronic medical record implemented by the Dubai Health Authority), particularly in its approach to managing both staff and prisoners.
Nadeen Al Rabaee commented:
“My time at the Dubai Police Health Center opened my eyes to how healthcare supports those who protect our community. Seeing the dedication of the officers and the medical team was truly inspiring.”
Raneem Zakaria added:
“This experience taught me the value of precision, teamwork, and discipline in healthcare. Working alongside such committed professionals was an honor.”
This internship is an optional opportunity provided to DMU College of Pharmacy students, reflecting the strong collaboration between academia and national institutions in preparing future-ready healthcare professionals. DMU thanks the Human Resources Department – Dubai Police, especially Mr. Nasser Ahmed Alblooshi, for facilitating this valuable learning journey.
