As part of the College of Pharmacy’s commitment to enhancing collaborative clinical learning, an Interprofessional Education (IPE) session was organized for Postgraduate PharmD students focusing on Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN) administration. The session, facilitated by Dr. Sarah Sanad from the College of Nursing, provided a comprehensive demonstration covering TPN preparation, infusion techniques, and essential safety measures. Under the supervision of Dr. Sahar Elnajjar from the College of Pharmacy, PharmD students actively engaged in the session, gaining a deeper understanding of the nursing approach to TPN administration. This experience underscored the vital role of interdisciplinary teamwork in optimizing patient-centered nutritional care and improving clinical outcomes.
