The College of Pharmacy at Dubai Medical University is proud to announce that Dr. Ahmad El Ouweini, Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice and Critical Care Clinical Pharmacist, has been invited to speak at the International Conference on Advanced Pharmacy Practice (iCAPP 2025).

Dr. El Ouweini delivered a virtual keynote presentation titled “Bridging Borders, Breaking Barriers: Advancing Clinical Pharmacy in Critical Care and Beyond” on Thursday, August 14, 2025. His session focused on exploring the role of clinical pharmacists in critical care settings, including their impact on patient outcomes and multidisciplinary decision-making, highlighting innovative pharmacy practice models from around the world, emphasizing how interdisciplinary collaboration enhances healthcare delivery, and providing practical tools to build an outstanding career path in clinical pharmacy, inspiring early-career pharmacists and students to excel in specialized practice areas.
