Dubai Medical University (DMU) proudly congratulates Mahra Al Hosani, a second-year College of Medicine student, for winning first place at the prestigious Sandooq Al Wattan HealthTech Student Pitch Competition held on 14th April 2025.

The competition aimed to empower Emirati youth to innovate within the healthcare and sustainability sectors by providing a platform for tech-driven healthcare inventions. Mahra presented "Pharmedic," an AI-integrated healthcare software designed to revolutionize medical information exchange, earning her national recognition.

Her victory not only elevated the credibility of her startup but also opened doors for strategic partnerships and funding opportunities with leading healthcare authorities, including the Department of Health (DOH) and the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP).

Mahra’s achievement reflects DMU’s commitment to nurturing innovation, leadership, and excellence among its students.
