
Three medical students from Dubai Medical  University (DMU) — Deniz Saeed, Yumna Beltagui, and Rashid Shamil — presented  their research poster titled "Unlocking Precision Oncology: The Role of  Neoantigen-Based Cancer Vaccines" at Manipal University on 24th April  2025.
Supervised by Dr. Mohamed Hussein and Dr. Maha  Ayman, the presentation highlighted DMU’s commitment to advancing cancer research  and fostering interdisciplinary academic collaboration. The session allowed  students to engage in meaningful discussions on cutting-edge approaches to  personalized cancer therapy and neoantigen vaccine development.
The experience significantly strengthened  their research communication and public speaking skills, while feedback from  fellow students and faculty expanded their understanding of the challenges and  opportunities in precision oncology.
This academic engagement reflects DMU’s focus  on cultivating research excellence and empowering students to contribute to the  global scientific community.
