College of Medicine, DMU Hosts the 4th UAE Anatomy and Cell Biology Conference

The College of Medicine at Dubai Medical University (DMU) successfully hosted the 4th UAE Anatomy and Cell Biology Conference on 10–11 May 2024, marking a significant milestone in the advancement of anatomical sciences and interdisciplinary medical research in the region.

The conference, accredited with 9 CPD points, gathered leading anatomists, educators, researchers, and students from across the UAE and internationally. Attendees engaged in high-impact sessions covering innovations in anatomical teaching, advances in cellular biology, and the integration of AI and digital technologies in medical education.

Congratulations to the UAE Anatomy Consortium and its Chair, Dr. Shifan Khanday, for their outstanding leadership and vision in spearheading the event. Special appreciation to Prof. Yousef Eltayeb, Chair of the Conference, for his academic guidance and exemplary coordination that ensured the event’s success.

The two-day program featured keynote lectures, talks and poster presentations highlighting regional research, student innovation, and collaborative initiatives. The conference provided a dynamic platform for academic exchange and future research partnerships.
