The Career Guidance and Alumni Office at the College of Medicine was pleased to host an engaging session titled Clinical Documentation from Admission to Discharge: Essential Skills for Clinicians. The session focused on strengthening students’ understanding of accurate, structured, and legally sound clinical documentation across the patient care journey.

Students gained valuable insights into best practices for documenting patient histories, admission notes, progress notes, handovers, and discharge summaries. The session also emphasized how strong documentation skills are essential for clinical training, internships, and future residency practice.
