Faculty members and students from the College of Nursing participated in the opening of the Center for Optimized Realism and Education (CORE) by Leader Healthcare during Healthcare Simulation Week 2026.

The visit provided participants with an opportunity to explore advanced healthcare simulation technologies and experience innovative educational solutions designed to strengthen clinical learning, professional competence and patient safety. Faculty and students engaged with realistic simulation environments and learned how emerging technologies can support nursing education and clinical practice.

The College of Nursing values opportunities that connect students and faculty with healthcare industry partners and expose them to developments in simulation-based education.
