Psychotherapy & Counselling
Confidential mental health support delivered by qualified professionals.
Psychotherapy and counselling services are available for students who are experiencing emotional distress, anxiety, low mood, adjustment difficulties, relationship concerns, academic pressure, or ongoing psychological challenges. Support is provided in a confidential and professional setting using evidence-based approaches.
Students presenting clinical concerns or psychological conditions requiring specialized intervention will first undergo professional review and assessment by the Head of Student Wellbeing to determine the appropriate course of action. When necessary, students may be referred to psychiatrists or other specialized healthcare professionals for further evaluation and treatment. Such referrals apply particularly to complex, severe, or long-term clinical cases that require care beyond the scope of standard counselling and wellbeing support services provided within the university setting.
