June 10, 2026, Prof. Naglaa Shehab, Pharmaceutical Sciences Department, College of Pharmacy, Dubai Medical University, invited as a guest speaker by University 17 August 1945 Jakarta (UTA’45 Jakarta) to deliver a lecture on Structure–Activity Relationship (SAR) and the Bioactivity of Natural Products.
The lecture was delivered online to around 45 Indonesian pharmacy students, focusing on the SAR of selected secondary metabolites.
Prof. Naglaa Shehab explained how structural features in natural products can influence their bioactivity, pharmacological potential, and therapeutic relevance.
The lecture was highly interactive, and the students showed excellent interest in the phytochemistry and pharmacognosy aspects of natural products.
At the end of the lecture, Prof. Naglaa Shehab used Kahoot to assess the students’ understanding and to make the learning experience more engaging.
