
Faculty members from the College of Medicine attended the Emirati Conference on Medical Education 2026, held on 7–8 February at Fairmont Bab Al Bahr, Abu Dhabi, engaging in a comprehensive program focused on advancing medical education in the region. The conference highlighted key themes including artificial intelligence and digital learning, faculty development and leadership, competency-based medical education (CBME) and assessment, and wellbeing, professional identity, and patient safety. Through plenary sessions, panel discussions, poster exhibitions, and hands-on workshops, the program emphasized the integration of AI in assessment and teaching, innovative approaches to curriculum design, programmatic and workplace-based assessment, and strategies to support learner and faculty wellbeing. Faculty participation supported ongoing professional development and reinforced the College’s commitment to learner-centered, future-ready medical education aligned with national and international standards.
