
Dubai Medical University – College of Pharmacy organized a Faculty Development Seminar on Thursday, 29th of January 2026, titled “Advanced Pharmaceutical Services in Romania: Vaccination, Chronic Care, and Pharmacy Empowerment.”
The seminar was delivered by Prof. Adina Turcu-Stiolica, Senior Specialist in ClinicalPharmacy at theUniversity of Medicine and Pharmacy of Craiova, Romania. The session offered valuable insights into advanced pharmacist-led services, particularly in vaccination practices, chronic disease management, and the expanding role of pharmacists in contemporary healthcare systems.
The event fostered engaging academic discussions on international best practices and their integration into pharmacy education and clinical training.
In addition to the seminar, a meeting with the Associate Deans and Program Heads was conducted, providing a focused platform for dialogue on curriculum advancement, academic collaboration, and alignment of pharmacy programs with evolving healthcare needs and global standards.
