The College of Nursing at Dubai Medical University (DMU) recently hosted a strategic meeting with senior representatives from Medcare Hospitals & Medical Centers, along with Prof. Basil Amarneh and members of the College of Nursing faculty, to explore opportunities for collaboration in nursing education and clinical training.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Atef Mahmoudi, Senior Manager – HR and Recruitment, Ms. Sanitha Ron, Head of HR, Medcare Hospitals & Medical Centers, and Ms. Akanksha Dicholkar, Chief Nursing Officer, Medcare Hospitals & Medical Centers.

Discussions focused on strengthening academic–clinical partnerships, including potential collaborations in nursing education, student clinical training, professional development initiatives, and the proposed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between CON-DMU and Medcare Hospitals. The meeting marked an important step toward building a mutually beneficial partnership.

The College of Nursing looks forward to continuing discussions with Medcare Hospitals & Medical Centers and advancing collaborative efforts that support excellence in nursing education and healthcare practice.
