On October 3, 2025, the College of Pharmacy at Dubai Medical University (DMU) welcomed an external review team from the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) as part of the evaluation process for the new six-year Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) program and the revised Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) curriculum.

The external review team consisted of Dr. Dawn Zarembski, PharmD, Associate Director, Accreditation and Interim Director, ISP, ACPE, and Dr. Renae Chesnut, Drake University, College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, Johnsto.

The ACPE team met with Dean and leadership team, curriculum and student learning team, experiential education team, academic staff, student services representatives, assessment and quality team, and they met with students to review curriculum design, experiential education, quality assurance, and support services essential for the launch of the new programs.
