The Dubai Medical University (DMU) Simulation Center proudly celebrated International Simulation Week during the week of 15 to 17 September 2025, a global initiative recognized by the Society for Simulation in Healthcare (SSH). This annual event brought together students from across the Colleges of Medicine, Pharmacy, and Nursing, spanning all academic years, in a week filled with innovation, learning, and collaboration.

The week-long celebration featured a variety of interactive and competitive activities designed to enhance clinical skills, teamwork, and problem-solving in a dynamic learning environment. Highlights of the event included:

• Escape Room in a Box – a high-pressure, team-based challenge promoting critical thinking and clinical decision-making.
  
• Bleeding Lifeline – a hands-on activity simulating real-life emergency scenarios.
  
• Error Room – a unique experience where participants identified and managed clinical errors in a safe setting.
  
• Moulage Competition – qualification rounds on hematoma and laceration applications, culminating in a final competition focused on burn injuries.

The atmosphere throughout the week was one of enthusiasm, collaboration, and fun, blending serious learning with creativity and teamwork. Students not only showcased their clinical and technical skills but also discovered the importance of communication, leadership, and adaptability in healthcare practice.
