Dubai, UAE – September 20, 2025 – DMU College of Pharmacy has officially launched the second cohort of its “Preceptor Certificate Program,” aimed at enhancing experiential education in pharmacy. The program commenced with an introductory session held on campus on September 20, welcoming 30 preceptors from hospitals and healthcare institutions across the UAE.

Endorsed by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) and supported by the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP), the initiative is designed to support and empower preceptors—experienced practitioners who mentor pharmacy students during their clinical training.

The program underscores DMU’s commitment to strengthening partnerships with clinical educators and elevating the quality of hands-on learning. Experiential education is a vital element in shaping pharmacy students into competent, independent clinical practitioners.
