Dubai Medical University (DMU) is proud to begin a new partnership with International Modern Hospital (IMH) to support better clinical training for students.
On May 26, 2025, Prof. Sherief Khalifa, Vice Chancellor–Academic Affairs and Dean of the College of Pharmacy, and Prof. Mirza Baig, Associate Dean – Clinical Affairs, visited IMH. They met with Dr. Rohit Kumar, Medical Director, and Dr. Rania Al Khani, Pharmacy Manager, to plan how students from medicine, pharmacy, and nursing can train at the hospital.
Both sides agreed on the importance of hands-on learning. IMH leaders, including CEO Dr. Kishan Pakkal, showed strong support for giving students high-quality training.
Prof. Sherief also suggested special training for IMH preceptors through international programs like ACCP and ACPE. This will help them better guide students in clinical settings.
This new partnership will help students gain real-world experience and improve the quality of healthcare education.
