Mainly DMU LRC/Library serves DMU community and allied stake holders only.

• Staff: up to 5 books for 2 weeks
• Faculty: up to 10 books for 8 weeks

Please call or email to the library staff. They will check the material replacement price and inform the user. User needs to pay to the DMU accounts and bring the receipt to clear his/her account.

You can check the online public access catalogue (OPAC), search the titles by author, tile, keyword, etc. and note down the book call number to locate the book on the shelf.

Overdue notices are sent to patrons as reminders to return borrowed items by their due date. Failure to return library materials on time may result in the suspension of library services for a specified period. Access to borrowing privileges, e-resources, and other library services may be restricted until the overdue items are returned or the issue is resolved.

Patrons will be required to pay for replacement of lost or damaged items at their local library. A default fee is DHS100 will be added to the price of the lost or damaged item.

All items can be borrowed except for non-circulating items e.g. multimedia materials and Reference books such as Encyclopaedias, dictionaries, thesis.
