The Integrative Medicine Department at Dubai Medical University concluded its 2026 Wintership Program with final presentations showcasing innovative herbal-based products developed by students from the Colleges of Medicine, Pharmacy, and Nursing.

The program fostered interprofessional education by bringing together future healthcare professionals to collaborate across disciplines. During the final showcase, student teams presented a diverse range of creative formulations, including herbal soaps, medicated lollipops, topical serums, and other wellness products.

Throughout the program, students utilized the University Greenhouse to explore medicinal plants and understand their therapeutic potential. They also incorporated “AI Dr. Layla,” the university’s artificial intelligence platform, to support evidence-based research and formulation development.
