On September 13, 2025 A team from the College of Pharmacy at Dubai Medical University was selected among the top 12 projects across the UAE to present at the Pitch@Gov Competition, held at the Mohammed Bin Rashid Centre for Government Innovation, Emirates Towers, Dubai.

The project, “Innovative Solutions for Sustainable Pharmaceutical Waste Management in the UAE,” was presented by Dania Abaji, Enana Al Fakih, Rim Jabr, and Tasneem Zarzour, under the supervision of Dr. Rana Sammour.

This participation offered students the opportunity to engage with peers from other universities, exchange ideas, and showcase their work to a distinguished panel of judges — gaining constructive feedback and valuable insights.
