DMU College of Pharmacy students represent UAE at 70th IPSF World Congress

A six students delegation from DMU College of Pharmacy recently participated in the 70th International Pharmaceutical Students’ Federation (IPSF) World Congress held in Nairobi, Kenya.

Representing the MiA DPCSU, United Arab Emirates, under the guidance of faculty advisor, Yasmein Yaser, our student delegates actively engaged in all three segments of the Congress: the Leaders in Training (LiT) program, the Main Congress, and the Post-Congress Tour (PCT).

The Congress brought together over 200 pharmacy students and recent graduates from more than 40 countries worldwide, creating a vibrant platform for professional development, cultural exchange, and global collaboration.

We are happy to announce our delegation’s outstanding achievements and contributions:

  • Recognition as Best LiT-er 🌟 (Rahma Nasir).
  • 3rd place in the Safari PharmaQuest Competition : Clinical Skills (Advanced)  🏅 (Rahma Nasir – Marwa Hadi – Huda Alnuami).
  • 4th place in the Safari PharmaQuest Competition : Patient Counselling (Advanced) 🏅(Rahma Nasir – Marwa Hadi – Huda Alnuami).
  • Award for Overall Best Abstract Presentation 🏅  (Enana Alfakih).
  • Participation in the Poster Presentation Competition  (Marwa Hadi).
  • Participation in the Poster Design Competition  (Eman Waheed).

These accomplishments highlight our students’ clinical expertise, research skills, creativity, leadership potential, and commitment to advancing patient-centered pharmacy practice on an international stage.
