Dr. Nadia Mahmoud Mohamed Ali El Rouby is a distinguished Egyptian medical educator and histologist with an extensive academic and research background spanning more than three decades. She obtained her M.B.B.Ch. from Cairo University in 1985, followed by an M.Sc. (1990) and Ph.D. (1994) in Histology, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Pediatrics (1995). In 2017, she completed master’s in medical education (JMHPE) from Maastricht University, Netherlands, in collaboration with Suez Canal University, Egypt, ranking second in her class. Currently, she is working as Professor and Head of biomedical sciences Department at Dubai Medical University, College of Medicine. She also holds leadership roles such as Associate Dean of Student Affairs and Admissions and Head of Curriculum Review and Program Delivery Committees.
Her research contributions cover a wide range of histological and pathological studies, focusing on endocrine, hepatic, and reproductive systems, as well as innovative educational methodologies. Dr. El Rouby’s recent publications in international peer-reviewed journals underscore her ongoing commitment to biomedical science and education, particularly her interest in exploring natural remedies and drug safety at the cellular level.
