Biography

Dr. Sarah Sanad is an accomplished nursing educator and academic leader with over 13 years of experience in higher education. She is a Certified Reviewer with the Commission of Academic Accreditation (CAA), UAE, and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA), UK. Additionally, she is a Certified Digital Expert in Digital Teaching and Learning by Blackboard Academy.

Dr. Sanad holds a PhD in Healthcare Management from Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University, UAE, with her doctoral research focusing on job satisfaction and quality of work life among healthcare professionals in the UAE. She is also a Critical Care Nurse Specialist, having earned her Master of Science in Nursing (Clinical Nursing, Critical Care) from the University of Jordan.

Her expertise spans in nursing education and curriculum development, teaching and learning strategies, simulation-based education, program accreditation, and quality assurance. A visionary in healthcare education, she has contributed to program accreditation and curriculum reforms, ensuring nursing education meets accreditation standards and competency-based learning frameworks.

Dr. Sanad has a wide experience in nursing education and curriculum development, having taught a wide range of undergraduate nursing courses, including Adult Medical-Surgical Nursing, Clinical Pharmacology, Maternal & Newborn Nursing Care, Critical Care Nursing, Pathophysiology, Leadership & Quality Management in Nursing, Ethical & Legal Issues in Nursing, Nursing Scholarship & Evidence-Based Practice, Public Health Nursing, Fundamentals of Nursing, and Physical Health Assessment. She has also supervised undergraduate research capstone projects, guiding students in evidence-based practice and academic research.

Dr. Sanad is committed to advancing academic quality standards, integrating technology-enhanced learning, and fostering interprofessional collaboration to drive excellence in nursing education.
