Dr. Maha Ayman Mohamed is a dedicated lecturer and researcher in pathology, with expertise spanning histopathology, medical education, and curriculum quality assurance. She currently serves at the College of Medicine where she teaches undergraduate medical and
nursing students, supervises student research projects, and contributes to the advancement of competency-based and simulation-enhanced learning.
Dr. Maha holds a Joint Master of Health Professions Education (JMHPE) from Maastricht University and Suez Canal University, and a Master’s degree in Pathology from Sohag University, Egypt. Her research interests include oncologic pathology, vitamin D toxicity, Fetuin-A, and molecular mechanisms of hepatic and vascular injury, as well as innovations in pathology teaching.
As an active member of the Quality Assurance and Program Evaluation (QAPE) Committee, Dr. Maha integrates educational quality with scholarly productivity. She has published in peer-reviewed journals, including Springer Nature (Q1), reflecting her commitment to excellence in both diagnostic pathology and medical education.
