MD4 Program

Program Description

The Graduate Entry Doctor of Medicine (MD) program is a four-year curriculum comprising 156 credit hours, designed for students who have already completed a relevant undergraduate degree and demonstrated strong academic preparation in biomedical sciences. Building on this foundation, the program mirrors the six-year MD curriculum but commences directly at the Pre-Clerkship Phase. Students progress through a clinically integrated, presentation-based curriculum that combines organ-system modules, professionalism and ethics, research and evidence-based practice, and emerging technologies in healthcare.

The program places strong emphasis on clinical skills development, simulation-based learning, and early patient exposure, culminating in comprehensive clerkship rotations across medicine, surgery, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, family medicine, psychiatry, and subspecialties. Longitudinal threads in professional development, patient-centered care, community health, and research competencies run throughout the program, preparing graduates to be competent, compassionate, and innovative physicians.

Accredited by the Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA), UAE, the Graduate Entry MD program equips its graduates with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to succeed in licensing examinations and pursue independent medical practice both locally and internationally.
