DMU proudly participated in the Ramadan Walking Challenge on 21st March 2025 by deploying First Aid Volunteers from the College of Medicine to support the health and safety of event participants.

This medical volunteering initiative aimed to provide on-site first aid assistance during the event, enabling DMU students to apply their clinical knowledge in real-world scenarios. Volunteers managed minor cases of dehydration, fatigue, and injuries, ensuring a safe environment for all attendees. In addition to reinforcing emergency response and first aid skills, the initiative strengthened the role of medical students in community engagement and public health promotion.

This hands-on experience reflects DMU’s commitment to experiential learning, social responsibility, and preparing students to serve as responsive, compassionate healthcare professionals.
