Dr. Sami Mohamed is an Assistant Professor and Consultant Internal Medicine with over a decade of experience in medical education, clinical practice, leadership, and scholarship. He earned his MRCP(UK) qualification from the Federation of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom. He is a board certified Internal Medicine Consultant having completed his Clinical MD degree from Sudan Medical Specialization Board; and DHA licensed. He joined a Master of Health Professions Education program at SMSB, and later MSc program in Medical Education at University of Warwick, UK, and was elected to Fellowship of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of London, UK.
In addition to established faculty positions, he held roles in QAPE and EMREE Committees, participated in MRCP(UK) PACES exams organization, directed European Resuscitation Council (ERC) courses and trained Internal Medicine residents, interns and medical students; and presented in both local and international conferences.
Dr. Sami holds memberships in American College of Physicians, International Association for Health Professions Education (AMEE), American Diabetes Association, European Society of Cardiology, Emirates Medical Association, Emirates Society of Internal Medicine, and was accepted Fellow of International Diabetes Federation. At DMU, he works in Division of Internal Medicine, Department of Clinical Sciences, College of Medicine.
