(Month fraction is considered as a full month).<\/li>\r\n  <li> Refund requests for the above valid reasons should be made through the Student Affairs Department in collaboration with the Head of Support Services Department through a written request along with the original fee receipt. Refunds will be made after clearance of dues, if any. Refunds will be credited by bank transfer or Cheque to the same payer (student&rsquo;s parent \/ guardian \/ sponsor) bank account and not given in cash.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\nThe following are non-refundable:\r\n<ul>\r\n  <li>Visa fee<\/li>\r\n  <li> Application fee<\/li>\r\n  <li> Transport fee<\/li>\r\n  <li> Seat Reservation fee.<\/li>\r\n  <li> Full tuition fee in case of dismissal \/ suspension for disciplinary reasons<\/li>\r\n<\/ul> \r\n\r\n<div style=\"border-bottom:#bfa85f 1px solid; padding:5px\">\r\n<h5>Scholarship and Discounts<\/h5><\/div>\r\n <p align=\"justify\">DMU is keen to attract talented students and support their educational journey, as such we will offer Merit Scholarship&nbsp;to students as per criteria published Merit is based on academic performance.<\/p>\r\n \r\n <h5>Merit is based on academic performance.<\/h5>\r\n <p><strong>For the MD program:<\/strong> <\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n  <li>For new students, the top five ranked students applying (based on admission placement exam and Multiple Mini Interview score) will be granted 20% merit scholarship on their annual fees.<\/li>\r\n  <li>For continuing students, the top five students as per end of academic year Cumulative GPA are given the Merit Scholarship.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p><strong>For other Programs:<\/strong><\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n  <li>For new students, the details of the merit discount are published on DMU website on annual basis.<\/li>\r\n  <li>For continuing students, the top five students are granted the Merit Scholarship of 20% discount on the semester fees as per end of semester Cumulative GPA.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n \r\n \r\n<h5>External Scholarships<\/h5>\r\n<p align=\"justify\">Students can also be enrolled at DMU and receive external scholarships and this cannot be combined with any DMU internal scholarship or discounts. Sponsoring entities would pay the students fees and other expenses as per their agreement with the student. Students or sponsor are required to provide DMU Admission and Registration&nbsp; Department and Finance Department a written confirmation of the sponsorship or scholarship letter or agreement with the student. DMU is required to provide the sponsor with student transcripts, attendance records and invoices directly without prior notice to the student. If a student loses a scholarship, they are required to pay all pending fees to DMU.<\/p>\r\n<h5>Discounts<\/h5>\r\n<p align=\"justify\"><strong>Siblings Discount<\/strong><br>\r\n Siblings enrolled at DMU are eligible for a 10% discount on tuition fee only and this is applicable for the second student that joins the\u00a0program and 15% for the third.\u00a0 Once the first student graduates the discount ceases and the student pay the whole tuition fee.
