If any student withdraws after admission, this will create a vacancy that could have been used by another qualified student. Therefore, the University administration is strict in their action for such students. They will not refund the fees paid at the time of admission until a valid reason is provided for admission cancellation.<\/p>\r\n<\/div>  \r\n<p><strong>Refund applies as follows:<\/strong><\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n  <li>A 5% deduction is applicable on the full tuition fees if the candidate applies for withdrawal before the beginning of the academic year.<\/li>\r\n  <li>A 25% deduction is applicable on the full tuition fees if the candidate applies for withdrawal during the first 10 working days of the academic year.<\/li>\r\n  <li>A 50% deduction is applicable on the full tuition fees if the candidate applies for withdrawal after 10 working days of the academic year.<\/li>\r\n  <li>If a student withdraws after the second semester start, no refund is granted at all.<\/li>\r\n  <li>In case of unforeseen circumstances, refund may only be accepted after Deans\u2019 Council review based on student request supported with evidence.<\/li>\r\n  <li>Hostel and Transportation fees are refunded based on pro rata on a full monthly basis, not per day. (Month fraction is considered as a full month).<\/li>\r\n  <li>Refund requests for the above valid reasons should be made through the Student Affairs Department in collaboration with Accounts Department through a written request along with the original fee receipt. Refunds will be made after clearance of dues, if any. Refunds will be credited by bank transfer or Cheque to the same payer (student\u2019s parent \/ guardian \/ sponsor) bank account and not given in cash.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p>The following are non-refundable:<\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n  <li>Visa fee<\/li>\r\n  <li>Application fee<\/li>\r\n  <li>Transport fee<\/li>\r\n  <li>Seat Reservation fee.<\/li>\r\n  <li>Full tuition fee in case of dismissal\/suspension for disciplinary reasons<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n<h5>Scholarship and Discounts<\/h5>\r\n<p align=\"justify\">DMU is keen to attract talented students and support their educational journey, as such we will offer Merit Scholarship to students as per criteria published.<\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n  <li><strong>Merit Scholarship for DMU Programs<\/strong><\/li>\r\n  <li><strong>Merit is based on academic performance.<\/strong><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<h5>Merit is based on academic performance.<\/h5>\r\n<ul>    \r\n  <li>BPharm \/ PharmD Programs<\/li>\r\n  <li>For continuing students, the top Five students are given the Merit Scholarship of 20% discount on the semester fees as per end of semester transcript percentage \/ GPA. For students in clinical years\/clerkship training, the ranking will be based on end of rotation. If there is a tie in the score \/ GPA of students, the list is submitted to the Dean's Council for review and approval to allow both students to get the scholarship.<\/li>\r\n  \r\n  <li>For new students, the details of the merit discount:<br \/>For College of Pharmacy the following Scholarship Policy applies (for the Academic Year 25-26):\r\n  <ul> \r\n  <li>New Students scoring high school percentage from 90% to 94.9%: a 10% discount applies on the 1st semester fees&nbsp;<\/li>\r\n  <li>New Students scoring high school percentage from 95% to 96.9%: a 20% discount applies on the 1st semester fees&nbsp;<\/li>\r\n  <li>New Students scoring high school percentage from 97% to 98.9%: a 30% discount applies on the 1st semester fees&nbsp;  <\/li>\r\n  <li>New Students scoring high school percentage of 99%: a 40% discount applies on the 1st semester fees&nbsp;  <\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n  <\/li>\r\n  \r\n<\/ul>\r\n<h5>External Scholarships<\/h5>\r\n<p align=\"justify\">Students can also be enrolled at DMU and receive external scholarships and this cannot be combined with any DMU internal scholarship or discounts. Sponsoring entities would pay the students fees and other expenses as per their agreement with the student. Students or sponsor are required to provide DMU Student Affairs and Finance department a written confirmation of the sponsorship or scholarship letter or agreement with the student. DMU is required to provide the sponsor with student transcripts, attendance records and invoices directly without prior notice to the student. If a student loses a scholarship, they are required to pay all pending fees to DMU.<\/p>\r\n<h5>Discounts<\/h5>\r\n<p align=\"justify\"><strong>1. Siblings Discount<\/strong><br>\r\n  Siblings enrolled at DMU are eligible for a 10% discount on tuition fee only and are eligible for the second student that joins the program and 15% for the third, etc.  Once the first student graduates the discount ceases and the student pay the whole tuition fee. This is not applicable for transportation or hostel fees.<br>\r\n  <br>\r\n  <strong>2.
